Neon studio
The basic elements of neon are neon tubes made of high quality glass with a diameter of 6 to 21 mm. When bigger length neons are used, they are divided into systems - segments. The systems are attached in rows and their extreme electrodes are connected to the transformer. In order to obtain different colours of the light a special gas, Neon - red colour or Argon - blue colour, is being used. Apart from that each tube is covered with luminophor from the inside which together with the light of Neon or Argon provides a wide range of colours. Nevertheless, if those tubes are not attached to the current of electricity they are transparent or milky white. Therefore for neon production also glass tubes are used as they remain attractive despite the fact that they do not emit the light.A neon is one of the most economical and permanent sources of light ( it works up to 20 years). In practice such a long time of working depends on many factors:
- technology of production,
- purity of gas,
- proper choice of transformers,
- weather factors
In order to feed a neon we use high-voltage transformers as well as electronic feeders of 1000 - 10000 voltage and the electric current of 20 - 100mA. Transformers are able to produce much more electric energy than feeders; however, they are of much bigger weight and size. Electronic feeders are smaller and lighter but they are not capable of producing as much energy as transformers. That is why, to supply large outside advertisements we use transformers whereas to supply small indoor advertisements we use electronic feeders. Our studio is professionally equipped because we use machines produced in the USA by DACO Neon Equipment and we base our work on the newest technological advances.
Our products are a source of satisfaction not only to us, as producers, but also to our clients as their advertisements are more visible from large distances and, what follows, remain in the memory for long.
